An SBR (Short Barreled Rifle) with the ARMS S.I.R rail system. Back when they were released a decade ago the S.I.R was considered a top of the line handguard. By today’s standards it is seen as being too heavy, bulky and offering little rail space. You’ll notice it’s a stepped rail instead of being continuous. It does offer a distinct appearance but there are better options out there nowadays. (GRH)
Having owned a Barrett M468 upper, it came standard with an ARMS S.I.R, albeit an extended one. Aesthetically pleasing as it was, it wasn’t pleasant to hold due to its bulk.
